Represented by Serge Garcia and Despina Symons, EBCD/FEG participated as part of the IUCN delegation in the 33rd session of the FAO Committee on Fisheries, that was held on 9-13 July 2018 in Rome, Italy.

Moreover, EBCD/FEG organized a joint side-event on ‘Towards sustainable fisheries: mainstreaming biodiversity – what are our commitments and how do we deliver’ in collaboration with FAO, CBD Secretariat, IUCN-CEM-Fisheries Expert Group and Spain.
