This was the ‘European Week of Bees and Pollinators’ 2018

Bee Week 2018 was hosted from 26-28 June by MEP Michel Dantin, Chair of the “Apiculture & Bee Health” Working Group of the European Parliament Intergroup on “Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development“, alongside MEPs Mairead McGuinness, Marijana Petir, Nathalie Griesbeck, Frederique Ries and Pavel Poc and co-organized with:

  • The Biodiversity Network for Bees,
  • Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech – Université de Liège,
  • BeeOdiversity,
  • BeeLife,
  • European Crop Protection Association,
  • Copa-Cogeca,
  • International Confederation of European Beet Growers (CIBE), and
  • The European Parliament Intergroup on “Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development“.

 This year we focused on ‘’How is the agricultural community mobilised to protect bees?’’
