Banking Nature: will putting a price on nature protect it?

Nature is in crisis. If we continue to lose biodiversity at the present speed and scale, the future provision of the most basic of human needs such as food, clean water and clean air could be at risk.

As the EU mounts new legislation and new funds to facilitate private investment in nature, the European Parliament would like to invite you to discuss the defining question of the conservation debate: Will putting a price on nature protect it?
