“The Atlantic Strategy in Action”

The Atlantic Strategy and its Action Plan identify the main developmental areas for realising the growth potential of the blue economy in the Atlantic Member States. Partnership Agreements and Operational Programmes in the Atlantic should take into account the Strategy and are important tools in the implementation of the Action Plan.

This one day event, organised by the European Commission, in cooperation with the Atlantic Strategy Group and the Committee of Regions, will focus on the state of play of the implementation of the Atlantic Strategy and its Action Plan as well as available funding instruments, in particular “shared management” funds. The “Support Team for the Atlantic Action Plan”, a small team supporting the implementation of the Action Plan will also be introduced during this day.  Further details on the event will issue shortly.
