EU Conference on Economic Advice in Fisheries Management, Malta
Serge Garcia was invited to make a short presentation on Fishery Management, Biodiversity Impact Mitigation and Ecosystem Services at the EU Conference on Economic Advice in Fisheries Management held in Malta on the 4th and 5th of February 2016. The presentation showed the articulation between biodiversity conservation and fisheries management, the role of market instruments in proposing a “common currency” for both and the potential role and challenges of using Payments for ecosystem Services.
